Situated in 'The Heart of England's Largest Village', The George Hotel is friendly, comfortable and elegant with ample parking in our own managed car park, situated opposite the inn. Our large open bars are busy with locals and afford our guests the opportunity to mix with and get a flavour of North Devon life. Our chefs create menus which are based on locally sourced food at reasonable prices and we offer a range of accommodation. Recently inspected by the English Tourist Board we were judged to be a very solid 3 star Inn.. In addition to this we have an authentic Thai menu running alongside our traditional English menu and a Thai takeaway.
